For the second release to come out for the reworked Air Max 180, Nike takes it back to 1992 for an Olympic-themed retro.
Most famously, this colourway was on the feet of none-other-than His Airness himself—Michael Jordan—during the Barcelona '92 Olympics. Whilst Jordan wore the latest AIr Jordan 7 on-court when starting for the 'Dream Team' it was promotional images of him sporting the Concord 180 in his Team USA kit which resonated with us.
Those white uppers with a glint of gold—foreshadowing USA's dominance—and hits of Concord blue—later used on the Jordan 11—made this one of the best 180s going. Not seen much since their original release, to bring the Concord colourway back on the newly-remastered 180 is a lay-up and we're glad Nike did it.
